Raven™

Raven™ & Caboodle JMX gateway

Raven is a mobile application and toolkit -- you can think of Raven as a mobile version of the Java 5.0 JConsole application.

Try out the demo first...

Click here for instructions on how to download a demo directly to your cell phone, PDA or to the Wireless Tool Kit (WTK) emulator.
The Raven demo does not make any OTA (over the air) network connections.

Installing and using Raven

Memory chart

The memory chart is an automatically refreshing view showing you the current memory state of your Java 5.0 server.

When combined with the alerts features of Raven the memory chart provides a simple way for developers and sys-admin staff to keep on top of any pending problems with their systems.

JVM memory alerts & Threads

The memory alerts view allows you set memory threshold alerts and optionally enable SMS message alerts.

Raven also has a memory summary view, which provide a snapshot of the selected JVM's memory usage and configuration.

Plus there are thread charts and summary views, and options to view the current stack frame of a selected thread.

JMX beans browser

The JMX beans browser is activated by selecting the Mbeans main menu option and allows you to view information on JMX domains, MBean types and invoke methods on individual MBeans.

By selecting a JMX domain the browser will show you a list of available types in the selected domain

Please note that the free version of Raven does not allow you to invoke methods on MBeans
